ABOUT
Capstone Asset Management Society is a student-led organization focused on enhancing its members' knowledge and skills in finance and investment management. The society provides students with hands-on experience in portfolio management, equity research, and financial analysis through various educational and networking opportunities including influential guest speaker events. Capstone Asset Management Society's mission is to develop the next generation of investment professionals by offering a platform for students to gain practical experience and exposure to the finance industry.
Our Founder
From Winnetka, IL, Mac founded CAMS in Fall 2017 with the intention of building a student asset management group that invests in a multitude of asset classes across sectors using a variety of strategies (with an emphasis on fixed income). He served as President until Fall 2019, and graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2020 after triple-majoring in Mathematics, Finance, and Economics. Mac previously interned with Neuberger Berman and Wells Fargo Securities, and after graduation began his career at Capgemini as a Senior Consultant. He then served as a Senior Investment Banking Analyst for FORVIS Capital Advisors. Recently, he pivoted to a Senior Financial Analyst role at LiftOne in Charlotte, NC, where he serves as a business advisor to Vice President of Operations.
