New Member Education

In-depth new member training seminars led by our Director of New Member Education

As a new member, you will attend a series of weekly education seminars to become better acclimated to how our group and Wall Street functions. Our specific focus within the New Member Education Program will be to teach members the principles of value investing: an investment strategy that seeks to identify and invest in undervalued companies relative to their market price. After finishing your first semester in CAMS New Member Education, you will join an industry committee and start developing original investment theses.

In addition to the New Member Education Program, CAMS Professional Development Program has been designed as a separate weekly class dedicated to assisting members in finding internships and full time placement. The goal of this program is to set students up for careers in finance through both technical and behavioral preparation. Run by two members that have received bulge bracket equity research internships as well as one with full time placement; our Co-Directors of Professional Development will use their experience in the recruitment process to set our members up for professional success.
